If you can’t water your lawn first thing in the morning, try for late afternoon or early evening between 4 PM and 7PM. Watering at this time will give your lawn plenty of time to dry out before nighttime but still prevent midday burning. That said, watering too late could put your grass at a higher risk of excess moisture, which may lead to problems like fungus growth.
